    Feeding

What will be an everyday food for a dog each owner decides itself. The dry forages are handy by they should not specially be prepared, besides they include all indispensable for dogs life: vitamins, amino acids, trace substances. At their usage it is necessary to allow for the guidelines of the manufacturers on a dosage and forage selection pursuant to age, activity and health conditions of your dog.
Nevertheless majority of dogs prefer natural forages. And if you decide to feed your dog by natural food, take care about its diversity and sustenance. It is specially necessary when you feed the pup till 1 year, since the future of your dog is built up in this time. It is no secret that it is possible to bring up a rather mediocre dog from the very perspective pup by incorrect cultivation and feeding.
Meat basically is used uncooked, by-products are useful too. They can be both pork and mutton, but it is necessary to scald or to boil them. Meat should be lean. It is more useful to give the pups not by the way of forcemeat, but as cut thin strias, and it is necessary to cut the meat along fibres, instead of crosswise, as the people prepare for themselves. To adult dogs they give by slices. Note that it is impossible to feed a dog by meat only, it is harmful, since can result in an albuminous venenating. Usually dogs like the chicken very much, but it is possible to give it only in a boiled kind, having eliminated all bones.
I never feed my dogs with bones, as the teeth are very fast rubbed away over them, and boiled bones are useless, the dog will not receive anything except for a constipation.
Meat can be exchanged with a fish but only marine fish. If the fish small-sized, it is possible to give it bodily or as a forcemeat. Large fish should be boiled and freed from bones.
What quantity of food to give to a dog? This problem is raising very much often. I advise to observe the dog. If she doesn't eat all you give her or she is excessively thick, it is necessary to reduce the portion. As to a poor dog you need to increase the portion or quantity of feedings. Normal dog does not have fat body, backbone doesn't stand out, the ribs should be not visible but palpated.
As to temperature of food I consider indispensable to give heated food only to pups. The room temperature suffices for adult dogs. There are no preheaters in the nature, the people refine dogs and transfer their sensations on them.
It is very useful to add vegetable oil in food, better not refined, up to tablespoon per day.
The regular use of it improves the quality of a wool and skin.
To avoid dental calculus it is enough to add tomato juice or furbished cut tomatoes to food 2-3 times per week.
